2023 Central and Southern Regional Ringette Championships
Our tournament committee is working diligently to ensure that your team's year-end championships will be a fun and exciting success! While still in the early planning stages, we have some details to share with you to help get things started.
When will the tournament run?
The tournament will take place Friday March 31 - Sunday, April 2, 2023.
Where will the tournament take place?
The tournament will be held at the Delpark Homes Centre in Oshawa, located at 1661 Harmony Rd N, Oshawa, ON L1H 7K5. (Link to City of Oshawa Site: LINK).
Who is the Host Region & Association?
The host region is the Central Region, and the host association is the Oshawa Storm Ringette Association.
What is the tournament cost per team?
The per-team cost is $825 for a 3-game round-robin. This is inclusive for all participating divisions: Fun 3, U12B, U12A, U14B, U16B & U19B. Each division may have semi-finals. All divisions will have finals. (This will depend on the division format.)
When do we need to pay?
Full payment is due by Friday, March 3rd, 2023.
How do we pay?
Payments can be e-transferred to Oshawa Ringette through the following email address: treasurer.osra@outlook.com . Or, if you like to kick it old school, cheques can be mailed to 1300 King St. E. Unit 27. Suite 216. Oshawa. ON. L1H 8J4
How do we register?
We are pleased to inform you that your registration has been completed through the Intent to Proceed process. Between the Intent to Proceed submission and TeamRAMP, your team is accounted for.
How do we keep up to date with the latest tournament information?
All tournament publications will be through the Oshawa Storm Ringette Association: LINK
Where will we find the tournament schedule?
The tournament schedule will be posted on the RO Games Portal: LINK. However, the schedule will not be prepared for release until early March, at the earliest. The goal will be to have the tournament start around noon on Friday and run until Sunday evening. This should negate the requirement to travel to Oshawa on Thursday night.
How with the division alignments be determined?
All divisions are determined largely in part through regular season standings. Every effort will be made by the league coordinators to ensure the divisions are balanced and equitable.
Where will be staying?
Unfortunately, there are very limited options available, as the region has several other tournaments taking place at the same time. Because of this, we may need to prioritize accommodations for those teams coming from the furthest distance. The link for the tournament accommodations is provided here: LINK.
Will there be tournament t-shirts available?
Yes! You can order your tournament T-Shirt now for just $20! All T-Shirt orders can be done through the following LINK. All T-shirt orders are due by March 15, 2023.
