Join the Oshawa Storm Ringette Association for an exciting and FREE event that's perfect for kids who are curious about playing ringette! This hour long event is designed to introduce young athletes to the joy of ringette in a fun and safe environment.
What to Expect: Kids will spend an hour on the ice, guided by experienced coaches who will teach them all the exciting aspects of ringette. From skating to passing and shooting the ring, participants will get a taste of the game's fast-paced action. Plus, they'll learn some of the essential rules that make ringette so unique!
No Skating Experience Required: No worries if your child is new to skating! This event is designed for all ages and levels, and no prior skating experience is necessary
Bring a Friend: Bringing a friend along doubles the fun! Encourage your child to bring a buddy to share this fantastic experience of learning and playing ringette together.
Equipment Needed:
- Helmet (skating or skiing helmets only, no bike helmets) (hockey or ringette cage recommended, but not required)
- Skates
- Gloves (Hockey/Ringette/Lacrosse gloves recommended, winter mittens or gloves acceptable)
- Ringette sticks will be available to borrow at the event!
