Submitted By Oshawa Storm PR on Tuesday, April 9, 2019
After falling to the Richmond Hill Lightning 8-1 in the round portion of the Central Region ringette championships last weekend in Whitby, the Oshawa Storm got their revenge.

In the final of the U10 division the Storm downed Richmond Hill 4-2 by outworking the competition to earn gold.

Player of the Game honours went to Laura Cooper for her spectacular performance between the pipes.

The Workhorse of the Game went to Alexa Volpe, Olivia Marshall, Amelia Blazeichuk, Violet Bowman, Emma Parkin, Maya Edison, Kayla Snow, Olivia Ohlew, Addison Wright, Maya Coros, Kalli Howard, Lily Smith, Ava McDaniel and Macey Stark for playing their best in the most important game of the season.

A special mention to Alexis Petrie who had an amazing tournament but fell ill and was unable to play in the finals.

Thanks to all the parents, super fans and the bench staff for an amazing season!
