
U16A Storm Earn Silver in Richmond Hill
The Oshawa Storm came just a goal shy of
earning gold in Richmond Hill thanks to a 2-1 loss to Forest in the
championship.
On the way to the final, the Storm defeated
Richmond Hill 4-2, London 5-3 and Newmarket 5-4 while mixing in a 2-1 loss to
Markham.
U19A Storm Continue Quest for Provincials
The Oshawa Storm U19A team continued their drive toward the provincial championship tournament picking up a win and a tie in four games during last weekend’s tournament in Richmond Hill.
The Storm fell 5-3 to Richmond Hill and 5-3 Forest before defeating Mississauga 4-3 and skating to a 2-2 draw with Richelieu.
Palaina Bradley led the way offensively with six goals in the tournament, while Lauryn Downer added three markers with her two assists.
Hana Kennedy added two goals, while Olivia Langworth added a goal and four assists. The team is back on the road this weekend with a tournament in West Ottawa.
