WEEEKEND ROUNDUP: Storm Put Up 14 in Win Over Rays

The Oshawa Storm posted an impressive 14-8 victory over the Newmarket Ray in U12 Provincial team action Sunday night at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex in Sharon, Ont.

U12 Regional
The Storm dropped an 8-3 decision at the hands of the Pickering Lightning in U12 Regional action on Saturday at the Pickering Recreation Complex.

Rachael Bryan scored two goals and added an assist in the loss for the Storm. Ellie Sargent added a single tally, while Mackenzie Stone notched an assist.

Stella Youngs was steady between the pipes making 23 saves.

The U8 Storm played a strong game on Saturday at the Delpark Homes Centre against the Pickering Lightning.

Once again the Storm were victorious as Adele Keeler lead the way with a hat trick. Olivia Byrom, Ella Brazier, Camille Mathers and Myla Hughes netted one goal apiece. For Hughes, it marked her first goal of the season.

Emily Peel contributed with an assist, while Jackson Missons was strong in net allowing only three to slip past him.

The U8 team also had a great time with friends and family at the annual Skate with Santa on Sunday.
