Submitted By Darryl Mathers on Monday, November 26, 2018
The Oshawa Storm U8 team put in solid performances in weekend ringette action to pick up a pair of victories.

On Saturday against the Whitby Wild, Adele Keeler and Harper McAlister both notched hat tricks while Keira Dewar and Olivia Byrom both added single markers.

Lyla Walker and Myla Hughes each added an assist while Jackson Missons was solid in goal. Stellar defensive efforts were put in by Camille Mathers, Callum Bruce, Morgan McMahon and Ella Brazier.

On Sunday Byrom led the way with four goals as the Storm faced the Sunderland Stingerz. McAlister and Dewar also scored.

In U10 action on Sunday the Storm visited Sunderland and picked up a 5-2 victory over the Stingerz.

Meanwhile, the U12 Provincial Storm split a pair of home games. The Storm defeated the Ajax Stars 4-2 on Saturday before dropping a 7-0 decision to the Richmond Hill Lightning on Sunday.

Also on Saturday, the Storm earned a 10-2 home ice victory over the Barrie Blizzard in U14A action before the U16A Storm defeated Whitby 3-1.

The U19A Storm wrapped up the weekend action with a 4-2 win on Sunday against the Ajax.
